Kennish, RN, Board members, P.R.I.D.E. committee members and
immediate supervisors of the winners joined in the celebration.
A beautiful Tiffany crystal bowl engraved with stars, symbolic
of their achievements, was presented to all P.R.I.D.E. winners.
“Our P.R.I.D.E. recipients represent the tradition
of health care excellence we provide to our patients. It is
an honor to present these awards to our staff members for
their outstanding achievements and we applaud their daily
commitment to St. Catherine’s and our community,”
said Sharon Kennish, RN.
Ms. Kennish went on to say, “The CSU staff works tirelessly
to create a special unit for our patients with heart disorders.
The complexity and scope of cardiac patients entering the
unit, experiencing heart problems, are diverse. Patient care
is not only provided by a highly skilled and trained care
team but also by a group of extremely compassionate, caring
and supportive health care professionals. They, and all of
our P.R.I.D.E. winners, are well deserving of this award.”
